Looks nice, but needs some colour other than yellow on it. Easily done though.

Wow, very nice! Something about the undercarriage looks not quite right to me (wheels too small, or maybe gear not swept forward enough?), but other than that it seems a good scale representation with excellent flying characteristics. I would prefer if it was 3S powered, but I guess bipes do have a lot more drag; given how over-powered it seems on 4S I suspect it may be possible to fly it in a scale manner on a 3S pack (might need a higher Kv motor though).

All in all I am excited - the Tiger is one of my favourites ever since I was bought a flight in the real thing a few years ago, but most of the kits available have had issues which I couldn't look past (ArtTech and GWS too small and not scale enough, HK lots of production issues, Green Models no longer available etc etc). I can't wait til this is available in the UK!

Something to compare it to. At first clance it looks good to me. Stop video at 1.44. Change the serial number and instant RNZAF plane!

Wow, I am surprised that they used the 650kv motor. That is the same motor they use in all their 3D planes. No wonder this plane had good vertical in NP's video.

Agreed, it's a very low Kv for a plane where even the full size has a two blade prop. At such a low w/l (~13oz ft2) it should be possible to work out a 3S powertrain though.

The newer Dynam WWII Warbirds all have a 500kv motor in them meant to run on 4s batteries. They all have big 13" props on them, though. All the newer Dynam planes that have been release this year are designed to run on 4s. It helps keep the amperages down on these power systems and allows them to run cooler IMO.

Good points - I can see that higher voltage, lower amp systems are more efficient way to generate the power overall. It will be interesting to see what prop they go with and how that affects the wattmeter readings, but with so much wing area it really shouldn't need a lot of watts for scale flying - it may be that 3S is fine without any other powertrain changes.

I know that people have flown the Dynam Peaks 3D Bipe on 3s successfully with the same motor. They just didn't have unlimited vertical with it like on 4s

So, I am sure you could fly this plane on 3s as long as the prop was sized accordingly.

Well the plane is flying out of it's skin at the moment , that's for sure, and to be 'scale' the prop could perhaps be smaller. Yes,thats right, SMALLER ! Unbelievable.


If you could get away with a smaller prop that would give more options ??
Not sure about those wing struts ? Perhaps the top wing is a bit big or the bottom wing a bit small.Yet it looks really good here.

All things considered it doesn't look too bad does it ?
