Love that boat. I just wish it was in the 30-inch hull length range. Maybe that is next.

Interesting that you should say that...

Spec sheet that Jason posted says "Hull Length: 22-29 in"

Can you confirm this, Jason?

Jason's specs say "22-29 in"... maybe he has the inside scoop!

Is there a 29" version coming out?

No you silly boy!

That is just how Horizon Hobby classifies their boats. So, this one is in the 22-29 inch class, but it is at the bottom of the range and is 22" long.

It's the same old Volere they sold a couple of years ago with an updated 2.4Ghz radio but they kept the goofy looking antenna tube and still are using silver painted fittings, which is a shame because they should chrome them instead.

Hee hee! Thanks for clearing that up, Kmot. I hadn't noticed that is what Horizon does.

Looks like a nice RTR boat.

Cool- interesting that HH has a length "class" but the rest of the specs are pretty model specific.

The radio is said to operate on "2.4MHz" twice in the review, once under "Key Features" and once under "Specification Sheet". It's only a minor nitpick, but 2.4GHz was clearly intended in both cases. I think I've been told that these reviews can't be edited once they're posted, though, so perhaps it's a moot point.

The boat looks nice, though. Living here in MN surrounded by water, I always think to myself "Man, I should get me a nice little boat for the lakes down the street". Then, of course, right about the time I'm ready to actually pick one up, winter hits

Hopefully the wood wont pop off the fiberglass shell like the Classic Runabouts. Mines in que for a major rebuiltding. Got the Envirotex and fiberglass cloth ready, just need some time.

Sounds like two different boat specs. One says 2.4, and using 7.4v. The other one quoted says mah 8.4v battery and 27 mhz.

The 27 mhz, 7 cell battery spec is the original version that came out 7 or 8 years ago. The radio was updated to 2.4 gig about 3 years ago. Downsizing the battery from 7 cells to 6 apparently is the "big news" that someone thought we had a need to know about.

As a model airplane without a pilot, it looks odd boating without the crew.

I am not a boat guy, but this one has caught my attention.

So what do people use for crewmembers in the size of boat?
