Hey Chris:

Finally got mine flying after getting the prop that was missing from your shipment.

Any chance I can get a Armattan CNC 355 with rear orange arms. The rest not painted?

But with all the correct props?

Also, can you provide the new landing gear?

Let me know.

Thanks

Are there some high quality props out there for these, or does it not really matter?

Thanks
Out of balance enough, and under alot of power/force could cause them to destroy itself. That was probably it.

I have 5 sets of the black ones, and every one of them when put on a balancer tips down very fast. I can take two large pieces of scotch tape on put towards the tip and it still not be balanced. So I am not going to use these black props.

Does anyone know of a higher quality set of props?

I have red, yellow, green, orange, and blue. The only two colors there were way out of balanced where the black and red.

Pat,

I don't have a shipping address for you.

Guys... Please remember to ass your user name and shipping address in the "note to the seller" part of your PPL payment otherwise I may not even know whose money it is. Refer to ordering and payment procedures on page 1.

Thanks.

Best,
Chris

Any other cheap, but sturdy solutions for landing gear?

Love to hear about or see them.

Was it Chris that said the Himodel props are supposed to be more beefy and durable than the Gemfans but at an efficiency/flight time cost?

I have trex450 landing gear mounted to mine. You can see a few pics back how it looks.

I have not idea when it comes to these props which ones are tough. These himodel props look to be pretty tough props. However, maybe i just got a bad batch of the black ones, but they are way out of balance.

I was just wondering if those that have been doing this awhile if they new of some higher quality props.

I have not heard anything about the gemfans props. I know they have the nylon/carbon ones out.

I never balance my props. I crash too often to worry about that. And when I fly I rarely just hover. It's pretty important on fob ships though and as a mean to preserve motors bearings.

Hi model ships the props not packed so well, so I suspect your prop was damaged during shipping, nohab. Just a suspicion.

Best,
Chris

Well, this prop was the orginal that was sent with the quad. However, I am sure it was either balanced or a defect. It happens. Not a big deal. Just wondering if there is better props out there, or the same quality.

I will use these props for now.
