The Zenmuse is 1.3kg The 3X Pro with mounting adapter is 1.1kg. A Canon 5D with 28mm prime is about 1.25kg

I just weighed the S800 with 3X Pro v2 mounted, two 6s4000 batteries, and simulated ballast (camera) weight. Total comes to 6.4kg. Just over the published max by .4kg. Will be interesting to see how the copter performs.

Ahhh yes. Thx for that. I was looking at the lower 6kg referenced in the flight time field. So it seems with 3X Pro v2 and 5D the copter would come in just under max.

i see you drill the center plate to mount the GPS . is it safe to do that in the printed circuit board ?

I have no problems . Iam not even sure iam hitting them

because i think you have positive on one side and negative on the other and wires to esc i don't know were ( i would be great if we could have a diagram ) i you could short circuit the 2 sides with the screw . anyway your mounting is very nice but i won't do that until i will have a diagram of connections.

What would it cost me for you to make me one of those? Just using two set screws it looks like eh?

I dont know. It took me about 30 min to make. Do you have access to Cnc

I have about 15 flights with my s800 and i had no trouble with the screws in the top plate but i would probably not Recommend you doing it

How about 6s5000 batteries? Also I would like to see some examples of this thing loaded up. I was looking at a 5D mkIII, 50mm L series Prime (590 g), 24mm L series Prime (650g), 85mm L Prime (1.03 kg)

Looks like the non-L series lenses are half the weight so maybe thats the ticket.

Spyde, I drilled a hole in the DJI mount and just used a 3mm screw that self tapped the hole. I mounted mine on the center screw and then drilled a hole forward of the center for the second mounting point. I also used double sided tape along with a nylon screw. No shorting issues.
