Impulse 3 D 3rd flight
Well, last night I finally got a real flight in w/out crashing nerves and plane. I reduced the aileron throws at low rate enough to give me good control w/out overreacting. Got in a good, but too short of flight due to club meeting. It flies great! Landings are so smooth,,,first time I greased any plane in this season. Anyway I can't wait until this weekend to put some more flight time on it.
The only real beef I have w/ this plane is the weak aileron control horn attachment.
I use a Model electronics Turbo 10 plus w/ 6:1 box, 10 2400's and Castle Pegasus 35 amp control.
Radio is a Hitec Flash 5X w/ Hs 81 servos and 555 rxcr. Right now I am experimenting w/ props to get the best performance and flight time. See Ya! John Z.

The Impuls 3D really flies more like a sport pattern plane. Soon we will have another wing for it that will optimze at slower flight speeds. Right now I think the Impulse flies like its on rails. A good quality for sport aerobatics.

What AUW did you end up with, and what battery pack. Finally what flight times are you achieving?
I'm thinking of getting one of these
