One of the half-dozen planes I've drawn/lasercut/built in the last couple months was a wing. Wanted a low aspect ratio plank with a thick airfoil. I know that all sounds kinda wrong but I didn't want it for all-out speed (although it's pretty quick). I wanted it to turn VERY TIGHTLY, slow down to land well, and have a pretty wide CG range. Also wanted it to work well with a little $20 street price motor that is sold with the foamie warbirds at Tower (listed under the foamie p51 replacement parts). I kinda happened upon this motor and haven't been able to burn one up even propping it up to more than 7 watts per gram. Works great on 3 or 4 cells and I'm using it with 4S packs on everything now with 8X8 up to 11X5.5 Currently a 9X6 folder on the wing so I don't break props as much on landing. Turns a little over 11000

Here are my 4 wings. Homebuilts. All fly great and have been holding up well.

My multicolored delta is most unique. No vertical stabilizers. Very light weight construction and aero just the control rods an motor are external. It flys well in 15 mph wind on a 40 watt motor flying at half power.
