1.5m hardware compartment size?

New to rc, I've built balsa free flights in the 60's. Building/designing a 1.5m electric glider foam/composite. I could use some suggestions and what to consider when figuring the hardware compartment dimensions.

Thanks, onlyshado

28mm diameter minimum for the motor at the nose, battery width at largest section, these are the main constraints.
Servo usually aren't an issue to find a place.

Plugs and wires!

Another factor is to build in room for the plugs and wires involved in electric RC - they always seem to take up more space than I plan for.
