So costly

Why these toy police car flash light bars are so costly. After all they are made of led lights and a normal flash light bar will have only a maximum of 16 leds.

Volume is low and you have to ammortize the programming and design over a year of selling. Its not like Walmart is buying a thousand of these a week.

I'm sure you can go to Radio Shack and buy LEDs and solder them together to make something nice for yourself though. Probably only 16 cents worth of LEDs and a little bit of wiring in there??

There's also a control board to make them flash, plus building the light bar.

you may try to home build one but to buy what your asking will be way more than 50 bucks . you might rob a board and lights from a new bright car . check goodwill or salvation army . but new is gonna cost ya .

I think RC-Lights may have all the flashing lights, but not the top bar. You will probably have to buy from several companies.

Good one. Nice flashing lights, but no fun without siren. I am looking for a similar one with siren and can be moved with a remote control

Looking for cheap light bars, looks like someone finally stepped up:

No siren, but the price is much cheaper than other options.
