Yes, I think the only thing you actually need is that dash of epoxy in the front, unless you need or want to lock it from moving vertically inside the fuse if it has a somewhat loose fit.
The balsa bits (5mm sheet) I would recommend if you use lead slugs, in a twisted/hard landing the tube may wreck the rear section behind the wing in a sideways motion.
That's at least with the Fosa because the sections are hollowed out so they don't take much sideways force from the tube.

I got myself a new toy...
Before starting to build i wanted to be sure about the position of the ballast tube. To have the tube balance at 102mm it has to be placed 3-4mm behind the fuse cutout? Hope i got it all measured right...
CG at 102mm gives neutral flight in a dive test?
