If funds didnt matter obviously I'd get both...but when reality kicks in is another story. Seems like you're well beyond a beginner pilot so i think the Yak Lite will do the job just fine.

I thought that lite was more suited towards indoor type flying.

It is, but I think advanced pilots would be fine with it out doors.

Thanks for the comments Dan. Though I'm not sure I'm "advanced", I'm trying. Watching some of you guys do nearly perfect rolling circles, and then doing them THE OTHER WAY makes me sick! hahaha

So after thinking about it awhile and what I love about these planes, 2s is out of the question for me, esp. since I'll be outside with it most of the time. 2s would be fine, but I just love 3s too much. I don't think the LITE is likely as able to hold up to 3s abuse, though I know it wouldn't fail. I just think the regular crack yak is more along the lines of what I'm looking for with a little added weight for wind penetration.

Thanks guys!
Travis

+1 Dan.. I'm liking my CYL outdoors. It makes you work a little harder when that wind does blow than you would have to with the "non lite" version, but that just helps to refine those skilzs

All this is almost making me want to log back into my FB account, not been on there for about three years. I refused to sign up to it for years but gave it a go in the end, lasted a few months before I was bored of it.
