sounds like no one has any experiance with this model. I'm guessing it's got a realy lousy radio system. the battery is tiny and heavy. do you have a radio system already? if so you might be better off with the E-flite p-47 or a GWS bird. If you have a spare $86 get it and let us know how it flys.

might as well give it a try...it certainly is cost effective enough

all the stats rival the older GWS war birds to it may fly just as well

and you could probably always upgrade to BL later

Just get the Eflite P-47 ARF and stick your own quality gear in it. No sense messing with cheap crap.

what are you gonna do after it noses in and breaks the prop and or gearbox? You don't have any specs on the power train. This is the part that is most likely to be damaged in a crash..and it will crash unless your an expert..That radio looks pretty cheap so I would not count on it to work well with out glitching short range etc. Is it DD or a gear box and what type of prop does it use and were can you get a replacement? Ok after looking it over it says 370 motor so its probably a clone of the GWS gearbox and prop.

rcjetsrule1, Just out of curiosity, what are you flying now?

Edit: After looking at your post history, I see that you hang in the micro RTF forum pretty much exclusively. So making an educated guess you've only been flying AAs and similar planes right?
Do yourself and your wallet a favor if the above is correct. DO NOT buy a warbird as your first full function airplane. you will (99.9999999% chance) fail miserably. It's been played out time and time again in the beginners forum. Yes the warbirds are pretty, but they are hard to fly. there are a hundred different Good trainers that will fly almost if not as easily as your AAs but a warbird will not.
My personal suggestion would be a Parkzone super cub, a slow stick or a wingo. All of them can be upgraded to ailerons, some easier than others and the all fly very stable.

yea but not warbirds...they are probably the hardest to fly but are also the most enjoyable (after you master the flight that is). When I fly mine, and I have many, people stop and ask me about them..men,women and kids!
