Has Anyone Used this covering ?

I bought 2 roles of this at the Dollarama . It says its vinyl and for covering books . Cut off a small piece and tried it on some MPF it seems to stick well . Rubbed it down with some alcohol and then painted it with a spray can . seemed to take the paint well . Im wondering if it will tighten up with a heat from an iron . Has anyone else tried it yet ?

Is it self adhesive? I'm going to buy some of this. I'll let you know what my experience is. I was going to try doculam from staples and still might but his may be a good alternative.

interesting but how heavy is it? Laminating films come in many types and weights, including 'Doculam' as I understand. Laminating films can be useful for model finishing. I have been meaning to try some sometime.

I haven't tried it but I'm not sure if it's available here at the Dollar/Dollarama Stores in Calgary, Alberta. I'm headed up that way so I'll have a look for it. If they do have it, Ill buy some as I'm looking for something other than brown paper to cover my foamies since fiberglass in the 3/4 ounce size seems to be in short supply here...lol!

Looks like it could be some version/copy of FastCal ?? The gridded backing paper identifies it as V similar
A self sticky (no heat required) covering film that's proven useful for patching/quick repairs at the field and IF careful (it sticks to itself horribly) as a model covering. Durable but not exceptionally light weight.

It looks very like what we in UK know as 'Fablon'
I have used some on a build and it sticks well direct onto depron.
I used clear fablon on black depron, makes the wing stiffer and more slippery, I like the way it's going but not had it in the air yet. I noticed there's a design that looks like wood-grain, my next wing could look like a railway sleeper
