So you think the ICE100 lite is up to the job of 5S and 16x17? Ive never pushed one past ~120A (6S)

I have both a 125 and 100 lite, would prefer to use the ICE just for the datalogging and its much smaller.

ICE150 lite would be the perfect comprimise.. if its ever released Its only a lil bit bigger than a 100, but crap loads smaller than the 200.

Yuri.
That had crossed my mind since it's not being abused so much.

Jacko got your motor mount a few minutes ago! That was very fast! May have been there even yesterday if we did not have the 4th of July holliday.

Thanks a million. Will show pics after installation.

Noticed castle log shows higher, much higher values of Wattage and amps then My wattmeter or my other gripclaw meeter does.. I would say 15% higher.

Has anyone measured how accurate the logger is in ICE 100A ?

Yes it, sucks. It only helps if you use the same esc on different setups to determine the relative loads. Dbox had one that conveniently doubled the amps

From memory, it is most accurate around 60 amps according to Bernie. You will find a margin of error above that but what % I don't know? It's to be used more as a comparative tool when you start to change parameters like props and batteries. I would figure out the error factor on your clamp meter and go from there. Voltage and RPM are highly accurate so watts are a little subjective.

My beater Hotliner setup for 3 weeks has been a Scorpion SII-3026-1190, RFM 15x16 , ice 100 heat sink with the heatsink removed, and kapton taped together. It has survived 34 flights, 69 climbs on 3s @ 244 amps peak. It has PLENTY of cooling air. Max temp with heatsink removed is 149 degrees, 20+ degrees cooler then with the heatsink attached. I will add that the motor gets fairly hot at this power level but nothing over 160 degrees.

Today's final flight was the same setup but with RFM 17x18. amp increase was 7% for first climb then LVC... lipo took a crap

Thats classic, its faster posting stuff to the US than it is posting stuff nationally

The NZ-US post link seems like a good one, ive sent a 2m model to california in less than 4 days post office to doorstep.
