My thoughts too. They claim the first "batch" has been shipped and the second batch is almost ready. My concern is buying the first of anything, particularly at this cost .. $2700+ for a pretty basic unit. thanks

For that price you can build one your self one and still have extra cash to spare But I guess for guys who doesn't have the skills to build and setup, or just don't have the time to build one their most likely to pay that price Shot I can help you put together a better package lol

Not sure what I am going to do. The "basic" unit seems to have a lot though, and I included a Futaba 14SG and NAZA-M V2 + GPS. Looks pretty solid and mounts camera on front. 15" carbon fiber props / two batteries..

no, sorry, my "basic" price included the Futaba which was about $600 more and the V2 was about a couple hundred more.. sorry I did not want to be misleading. They currently have a good coupon discount too. I guess it was not so "basic"...

So with all this, it was about 2700... The "basic" value was less.

thanks for the clarification...

is this thing over priced or what? I like to know the base frame cost.

Based on my calculation: Frame+Motors+ESCs+Props => $1,270

The "base" price was about $1800, then you add other components. You can see what the base price included at

I'm asking the base price without FC. The base comes with FC, Receiver and telemetry.
I just want to know Frame+Motors+ESCs+Props

Yup I think it's over priced, but it's the price you pay for if you want a turn key system.

Me too. Called them to see what the base package costa without FC, since I plan to use None DJI for autonomous.
They're going to get back to for base price.

Once I know what the base price is that covers the motors, ESC and frame, then it gives me an idea if it's reasonable or not. These motors are hand made.

Thanks all..

The unit starts shipping next week. I'll probably wait a couple of weeks and add a post to this thread to see if anyone that has purchased one can give me any info.
