Potensky Cobra 3D
I was wondering about the Potensky Cobra 3D model, can it really hover with the stock set up? at 3/4 throttle?!? i planing on using:
2* 18 grams each GWS mini servos
2* 7 grams each PICO servos
SUN 1000 18A ESC (22 grams with cables)
***if ESC is incuded with the kit im using the one that is included***
7 or 8 cells twicell 720 mAh NiMh (93 grams or 105 grams)
Hitec 555 reciever (21 grams)
stock 300 motor + stock 5:1 gear box
would it have enough power per weight to hover at 3/4 throttle and perform 3D meneuvers?

I'm not sure. What is the stock prop?
Do a search and you may find all you need. Here's one to start you off with:
Who's selling the Cobra here in Israel (or any other of the Czech planes)?

I think you will have to use 8 cells, to be happy.
I was running the stock setup with 2 cell etec 1200 lipos, so about 7.4 volts.
Even with the lower weight of the batts, I was not too happy with the way it flew. Yes, it would hover, barely. But it was too slow.
I quickly switched to an astro 010 brushless, with their 3.3 gear box, and 3 cell etec lipos, and that is wonderful!
I think the extra cell, (8), will be much better than 7.
