Help!
this is a stupid question

ok so this may be a stupid question but how do i turn a t-maxx 3.3 in to a e-Maxx what do i need?

u need an E-maxx ive seen it done but it is really not worth it ,just sell the t-maxx and buy an e-maxx.

No such thing as a stupid question. I think you would be better off selling the Tmaxx and getting a used or new Emaxx it might be cheaper than a conversion.

well i found a t-maxx for 150 and i figured i could sell the motor and try to convert it after a few runs

The only things the two share are the front and rear bulkheads, diff housings, arms and driveshafts. Everything between the front and rear bulkhead is different.

There are electric conversions out there for the TMaxx, just google it. Most are home-brew. But the most cost-effective thing to do is just buy an EMaxx. The 1st generation EMaxx is pretty cheap used.

Usually you wind up with a converted T/EMaxx that has a lot of weight (batteries) carried high due to the height of the Tmaxx chassis. It winds up being very prone to rolling in almost any kind of turn and not so easily remedied due to the weight since there's no where else to move them.

I paid $150 for my Emaxx a couple of years ago (1st generation, 3906). Maybe find a 3905 Emaxx roller and outfit it with motor and esc yourself if you have the itch to build.

Get what you're looking for rather than trying to make do, you'll be happier!
