Question
Traxxas E-revo Lipo

I'm about to get the E-revo brushless edition and want to go with a 4s lipo (for now). Is anybody using Zippy or Turnigy lipos, if so what size? And a website link would be nice. I know Hobbyking has them for great prices. Thanks

Kyle

Vort,
Thanks, is the hard case worth extra 13 bucks? Does the E-revo's battery need the extra protection?

I'd say no, but I squished my Turnigy packs preety bad, because I didn't make a snug fit and they moved front and back in the battery compartments. Adjust that L spacers properly and add some foam and you shouldn't have a problem.

The packs still work though, they're the 2s 20-30c version for 20$. (I'm geared for 35-40 mph)

I got a pair of 2s 30C turnigy's for cheap at Hobbycity. A pair of 3s's will be on order for my x-mas gift. I got my E-revo in the mail Monday but have been out of town, so it's in the box at home just waiting to be run.

these are going to under power the esc. you need atleast 120 amps, these turnigys only make 100. mAh×C-rating÷1000=amp...
