Any good parkflyer kits out there?

Any sugestions on a good built up parkflyer kit, (no foamies) I'm really looking for a kit that resembles a Miss-2 or a Corronet 400. I'd scratch build one but I dont have the time! and just cant bring myself to shell out 130 bucks to ne-sail or hobby-lobby (sorry guy's) Any suggestions ? What I'm looking for is basicaly stick / truss construction around 24 oz. weight RTF with around 450 sq. in. wing area. Tks for the 1st three sugestions, the Mountain models stick looks like a real sweet kit, but it is a stick! S & R's parasol is too heavy.

The DuskStik from Mountain Models comes to mind. Or the Cutie or X-250 from SR. I don't have any of these personally, but enough has been written about them that I can say I will, eventually...

RE: Kit Park Flyers

You might take a look at the Herr windy day flyer kits. My Herr Air Boss should be here any day now. I ordered it from Tower Hobbies. It doesn't have the poly dihedral wing like the two planes you mentioned. These kits are designed for 280 motors.

I have built the Dallaire Sportster from Spirit of Yesteryear. It was real fun to build, although I have yet to fly it. I am now building an Eastbourne monoplane from Aerocraft which should make a good trainer according to the instructions.

The new SR Batteries Bantam and Bantam Bipe are supposed to be available soon. You can see them at www.srbatteries.com
I think these kits are worth waiting for based on the quality of the Cutie kit.

Sounds to me like you are looking for a stick-built ARF.

These guys have some cool looking stuff, and they are an Ezone advertiser: http://espritmodel.com/

If it's a laser-cut kit you want, The SR or Herr designs look good. The models from Mountain Models go on either side of your request, a High-wing stick and a low wing sport (as well as a acro-pusher), but are by far the highest regarded kits around.
