I will try first taking the CG to the back part of the spar... This will mean a higher stall speed??
Only a slightly higher stall speed, but if you don't hold in elevator it will recover from stall faster with cg further back. It just flies better all round

Also I use airspeed sensor and set min airspeed of 40km/h. I'm fairly sure the osd uses this speed and drops nose accordingly.

Rvosd with min airspeed?
Has Alex implement the speed control on the 5.1 version already?
A month ago it was beta on the 6 version I think...
Hope your answer is yes....

Sorry... Was thinking of Cruise speed, I just checked and its set to 45km/h.
Not 100% sure it makes a difference but in pos hold without motor it holds 45km/h near perfectly while slowly descending.
I've never had it stall under rv control anyway.

Its my EagleTrees that have a min setting.

I will activate it.
Even if not working, jejeje
Nothing to lose.

Thank.

Are you using the stock motor? My phantom take off like a rocket with a x2814 1200kv with that battery and and fully laminate all fpv gear on it

This is true.
I'm flying with 8000 mAh in 3S and it's easy to launch. It almost go out from the hand itself

Maybe here someone can help me.
Today testing I was flying with 2.3 video (testing pepperbox also)
I'm flying on ground with a pepperbox. And in the air with a clover side connection. Both from @IBCrazy.
I was 1000 meters and at 10 km was difficult to see the video. At 12.5km was nearly impossible.
Always I got more than 5 degrees from the pepper box to the plane.

What do you think is wrong?Attachment 6688334

In the photo tw video antenna in the left part inside the wing.
I was thinking maybe to close to the frame. But not sure that is the think.
With skywalker 2.3 and crosshair on ground I get 10km without problem.

Not sure. If anyone could help.

Thanks!

I'd think that antenna being so close to carbon spar would not be helping.
I run similar position but my antenna is 100mm high above wing.

I tried burying my clovers like that in my Z2... Never worked well for me.

Yes. I was thinking the same. Is the only think that I have on my mind. The carbon par and the servo.
Because the other thing was the 2.4 relay for the 433 but I fly in 2305 and my test didn't show any degradation when turned on the 2.4 relay and putted over the pepperbox antenna with the plane far away with obstacles.

In the end I have to put it over 100mm over the wing but the antenna is side feeded. The cable is pointing to the side not down.
I will try to adjust the antenna without changing the position (polarity) with 100mm over the wing.

Thanks!
If anyone have done anything similar with this IBCrazy side feed antenna in all ear open.

I'm not so familiar with 2.3 ghz for video. Is it typical to get that range with 2.3? I know that 2.4ghz is degraded by moisture in the air. Is it possible your SW results were under different conditions/location? I agree with NB. Having the antenna so close to the carbon spar will not help.

Well. It's possible. Today was a very cloudy day. And I live in Cartagena which is coast. Half my flight was inside the clouds.

Will try modifying the antenna position. But I know after all I will get 1.2 (1.3? Which better?) with Gatling. Just want to at least make 20km with this setup of video.
With the 2.3 crosshair I made 10km. I hope to double that number with pepperbox.

Let's see.
If you know anything about 2.3 I'm all ears!!!

well im not blaming the turnstile but im having range issue (failsafe at even 1000 ft of distance) so i definitely im have interference . maybe is due to the extension running very close to servo wire and ESC when entering to the fuselage to connect the RX . or is not a good idea to have the RX inside the fuse .

but the reason im having the RX inside is for portability . my phantom has detachable wings

I have also the antenna inside the wing.
Did you put the tx antenna horizontally?
