PRAIRIE BIRD 50. Need iron-on covering answer
Having breathing problems, I need to cover the wing & tails of my new Prairie Bird 50 with plastic. Who makes the super-bright transparent yellow iron-on?
Will airbrush Klass Kote on fuselage, come Spring. I've seen this covering locally and also at Muncie. Have color-weak vision, some might call it "chartreuse". Thanks for any guidance, ScratchBuildrSAM AMA 28854 SAM 1312 |

Top Flite Monokote or Hangar 9 Ultracoat has the transparent yellow. I personally prefer Ultracoat over Monokote but it is up to you.

Oracover Lite do nice transparent film, including a very good yellow. Also light but not cheap - and I don't know about availability in the US, it may be marketed under a different name.

I think it's ultracote here in the states.
FWIW, yellow and even chartreuse are usually lousy colors for visibility |

Hobby PArtz China Kote is a nice transparent yellow is very nice when they have it in stock. I was told some should be coming in in the next few weeks

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I agree with you Ryan about yellow. Possibly down low as a park flyer, it may be OK. It is my best color to see. Trees/grass border on orange to my eyes. Again, thank you to all 4 posters, ScratchbuildrSAM |

Check www.hobbyking.com. They also sell and extremely cheap and excellent material. It comes in lots of colours. One small snag: They very seldom keep good stock of most coloursl, but when available, it is very good, easy to apply and takes compound curves better than Monokote.
