king kobra with Spring Air Retracts.
I am planning to build aKing Kobra w/ Spring Air Retracts. This looks like the group that can offer plenty of help. Ispoke with Dub Jett who recomened his Sport Jett 90l
engine for this plane.Anyone have any experience with this engine? |

I put one on the front of my freinds Arrow. It pulls hard ....we have it propped light... He likes to go fast.
I wouldnt say its stronger that my old scholl short stroke YS.... but my Ys runs like its ready to come apart. Dubb builds a good motor.... you do pay at the pump for the 90 though. I would like to play with one of his 60's. Also his stuff is designed around is 1/4 muffler /pipe. Most of the guys on the board like myself want the 20" of aluminum pipe and his stuff will only work with his pipe. Kevin Gribben |

beef up the nose landing gear...my had rom air retracts...enjoy the video of first flight ..and no it didnt crash....they handle nice...

power was old k/b 61 perry carb...108 mph on gun.(wheels down speed)
i think a rossi and tuned pipe in the canopy would fit nicly .. |
