Yeah I wanted to test which light was more visible on the other end of the glasses. Turns out they're both about equal. I placed it about 5' from the end of the runway. Bad idea, as I wanted to place the AFH on my HUD over the line and follow it in. What I might do is make another stick and place it on the other side of the runway. Place both of those lights where my touchdown maker would be.

mines working bitchen...... is yours a hero2?

protune is raw video,,,, cineform processes it and adds technicolor to it... goes from this

pro tune differences (1 min 47 sec)

002 (0 min 23 sec)

Andi, is it a hero2? At least your warranty starts over,,, i got a brand new hero2 yesterday like 15 minutes before this came out..... went right in,,, but it took a while to turn on, said some weird number on the screen, then it came back on

SD, I'll make you one. There super easy and kinda hard to find in 5.8... hugo just released one. I took 5.8 9800 feet in a stock f450 and back and it never broke up using that thing.

I'll make ya one for $15 with custom cabling so it mounts all nice and clean with just the right length

Scott,
You really don't need a touch down marker...
What you need is a glideslope and line-up indicator...

Yeah...i had no issues with updating to protune at all...i tested it out a little and it seemed grainy...but that was probably due to low lighting in my house....

Kloner...i will take one of those cross hairs...cant beat that...i did see them on readymade...but yours is a much better deal and you know what you are doing so i trust ya!!

I do appreciate all the help so far too...im glad we all got together and started flying cause to be honest...flying alone was getting boring!!

Andy...i freaked out for a second too cause after the update was done...i got a weird icon on the lcd screen of my camera and it wouldnt do anything.....

So what i did was hold the power button down for a good amount of time and it was fine....try holding the power button down for a decent amt of time and see what happens...also, try plugging it into your PC and turning it on to see what happens.

Otherwise you should contact gopro and yell at them for breaking your camera and tell them they should send you a new one with all the goodies!!
