Which plane for 3d newbie ?

I guess you can say I'm not to quick on the sticks...after learning and flying a hobbyzone supercub , I now find it hard to use my rudder on the left stick.
I've now fly an apprentice to get used to ailerons and the left stick rudder. Now I want to learn 3D flying. I bought a PZ su-29 Sukoi and am not having much success learning 3d with it. I've crashed it quite a few times now trying manovers (tough plane) broke it right in half the other day and glued it together and still flys great.
Would a light 3d epp plane be any easier? is there a such plane that you'd call a 3d trainer?

I found it was a tough plane to fly 3d it does not fly slow easily. I like the twisted hobbies planes I have the msx-c it works great and is tuff and can take a bit of wind. though I dont care for their esc I use a castle creation 15a esc.

all the twisted hobby planes are fast to build just have to wait for the glue to dry in a few spots that slows things down.

No clue but I was a beginner and it was easy all parts fit and they show you exactly how to do it and set it up.

I also have the SU29. I really like it , but wouldn't want to learn 3d on it.

A 3d profile epp plane is the way to learn. You'll be able to keep it low and close, making it much easier to see what the plane is doing.

I'd get a Standard Crack Yak and power combo from Twisted. Durable and great to learn on.

Start with 2s batteries, move to 3s later.

You'll have to build any epp profile, but the Twisted planes are well thought out and go together easy. Plus there's a pdf manual, videos, and build guides here.

Probably too many choices to list, but the secret is EPP profile foamy. I prefer anything with a fully airfoil wing, but many do well with flat wings. And for 3d either is probably fine. I just like to fly more aerobatics and the airfoiled wings seem to be better at that. A second to the above that the Sukhoi is not a good 3d trainer, and really not that great of a 3d plane in general.

For learning 3d I like the 32 inch Laser which uses 350 mah 2 cell batteries.
Or the 39 inch Crack Yak is also a easy flying plane for 3D which is larger.

Or any of the other 32 inch planes are great from Twisted hobbys.

the crack yak 55 is easy to hover but it is not super durable and in learning would get battered pretty bad. the servo mounting makes a weak spot and if you hit the wing it will crack. just cracked mine and it was not even that had of a landing. where my mss-c has been beaten to death and is going strong. plus with 3s you can hit the trottle and flip or roll it out of trouble in no space at all.
