I have usb-rs232 full adapter (prolific pl2303hx chip + max213 level chip).
I think, if i connect my dht-u module directly to pl2303 chip (ttl levels) and load rs232 interface in pl2303 chip from 3.3v - i could reprogram my dht-u with it.
What do you think?
Also i want flash my D8R-II plus to D8R-XP 27ms firmware via this cable, but in original condition (tx and rx connect to max213 for serial rs232 levels on it).

Thank you! I will try it today and tell you result.
Other question:
Is it possible to know what firmware version is flashing in my D8R-II plus receiver?
Which version in stock new receivers is flashing?
My receiver binds to other TX frsky with no problem, so i think that firmware in my D8R-II plus is 1 version, cause other frsky TX have first gen firmware.
In manual says that firmwares of RX and TX MUST be same versions to make possible to bind RX to TX.
I will reflash my RX today but i want also to know what FW version now in it.

Silly question.. could the D4R-II broadcast PPM? and if it does can it provide more than 4 channels throught the PPM or is limited to 4 same as the physical channels?

im going to build a multicopter with an AcroNaze32 board.. i have a D4R-II arround and tought about using it ..but maybe just 4 channels is too basic?

Jumper ch 3+4 and you get PPM ch 1-8 on pins of ch1. BUT you should upgrade the firmware to the 27ms FW-version for safty reasons.
