Almost too good to be true. Better grab a dozen of those!

Hi guys!

I have no expierience in FPV. I am thinking to use the V6 from HK for my first step into FPV.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=72951

I have some questions about this plane?

Is the airframe weight 1115g as described on the product page?
What is the wing area of this plane?
Is enough space to use two Multistar 5200mAh 3s batteries?

Is it possible to use one of the 2830 motors below for long flight times?

Any other suggestions for a motor?

Thanks in advance!

Uwe,

welcome to the thread! The SW is a very good choise for a first FPV plane. And the HK EU offer right now is un-beatable. If I hadn't got 4 SWs already, I'd buy one

I tried a 28mm motor once, but found it made too little power for the SW. May I suggest you go 35mm instead? For 3S a 3530 or 3636mm motor of 1000-1200KV would work. 1200KV for a 9x6 APC prop, 1000KV for a 9x7,5 prop.

And, yes, you can fit the 2 x 5200mAh packs. Start out with a single pack, though.

The Wing area is around 36dm2, if I remember correctly.

Finally, try using the "search this thread" function. Your questions have been answered several times previously

Well, if you know the answer why ask?

But let me tell you that I ordered that exact plane from HobbyKing EU warehouse on the 16th of February, and it is NOT the new plastic wing mount type.

I got this information 2 hours ago!

Same question, why should I ask when I know it?

Asked in the live chat from HK. Maybe there are some misunderstandings?
