Carl Goldberg Monster Pitts lower wing rib pattern needed
I was given a Carl Goldberg Pitts http://www.carlgoldbergproducts.com/.../gbga1088.html that has been crashed. The firewall is broken out and is a relatively easy fix. The left lower wing is a bit of a mess.
If anybody has a lower wing left over hint, hint, I may be interested in purchasing it. If nothing else, a copy of a rib would go a long way to a repair. Both spars are there but the bottom one is missing about 1 1/2 inches at the tip. It would be fairly easy to scarf on a new end. New sheeting and I still have the hardware and aileron (no damage) to reattach. The upper right wing tip is smushed a bit and is an easy 15 minute repair. Thanks!! Ken |
