Cool
Airbrush

Maybe it was not really necessary to create a new thread for this one, but on the other hand, you never know who's comming up next with a fully airbrushed bike!!!

What i wanted to let you know, next weekend there is an airbrushshow in Holland (Raamsdonksveer...vlak bij Waalwijk)....so, if anyone is interrested?! I've never been there so i don't know what to expect. But for more info. about this you can visit www.airbrush-show.nl

Have fun !!!

Howdy !!

Shaun....do you airbrush for living....or did I mis something here? Because if I sea the bikes that you made.......good work.
I'm following airbrush lessons now, and i must say.....it's not going very bad. My teacher said i did very well for a first timer! I did some airbrushing before but not good enough...in my opinion and if i have learned freehand airbrushing.....then maybe i can make a "killer-looking-bike- body". And maybe after a while i can earn some money with it.....you never know . One thing is for sure...i like airbrushing very much (always did), and i can recommend everyone to do it because, you are learning the skill's that you need to make some cool paintings and if you want to learn it by yourself it takes much...much more time.
So this is one of the reasons too that i didn't have much time lately to be in this forum!!

have a nice weekend !!

well gertjan,
it all depends on what you want to do with it.
and also what nozzle you are using, like 2mm, or 3mm.
the paint itself is quit thick, but can easely be sprayed with a 3mm nozzle, you can dellute the paint with water to make it thinner, but i dont.
I use it straight from the bottle.
i use createx as you can use it on anything; glass, wood, metal, leather, and lexan...
becouse it has a rubber-like texture it also wont chip from lexan.
If you are going to paint very fine art, createx is not for you,...but for what we do
i love it!!!!
b.t.w. parma`s faskolor is the same thing, only different sticker!
there is also a new paint out by createx that is very thin, even sprayeble with a 1.5 nozzle!
there tends to be a group of airbrushers that bashes on createx all the time.....
just try it!

good luck,
miguel

Nice job gertjan, she's came up looking awesome..! And what paints did you use..?

Well, on that note,.. this is something I did for a gaming shop about 5 years ago,.. and it's kinda similar to what you've done, but with aerosol cans on canvas..! (The image is off a CD cover, forgot the name of the game though.. It's 3m wide X 1.8m high)
