Servos in the fuse and hooked up!! Still gotta finish covering the wings...might be a good thing to do while it's snowing today.

Well, It's done!..It took a little more weight in the nose than I would like, but it's finished. The weather has been terrible for photos, but I have one of it in the shop and one of the graphics on the wings.

I'm planning on a possible maiden on Monday Dec. 8th. Calling for clear skies and 60 degrees. We'll see what happens. Worst case I'll get some pics of it all together where you can actually see all of it.

Love the Colors

Awesome now for some flying weather
Can you share with us AUW ready to fly, and how much lead went into the nose?

I don't have a scale that will give an accurate AUW, but I filled the hole in the nose block and about 1/4th of the area between the nose block and former 1. I used the battery as a mold when I epoxied the lead shot in place. It may not really be that much as I am using a 5 cell 1000 MAh AAA battery, which is quite a bit lighter than 5 AA's. I went with the AAA's because a 5 cell AA pack was going to be a TIGHT fit with no extra space.

I will try to weigh it at the post office on my way to the field on Monday. I will be by myself so I won't be able to get any video of the maiden flight.

The dark color is the monokote metallic teal.
