Interlaced footage?

New HC107C (SD) user here, and I've gone through the 107C and almost all of this thread already (about two dozen pages to go and many of the 101 posts.

One thing I've not seen mentioned or discussed anywhere, so I just have to chime in: I believe the H107D TX records interlaced footage. 720x240 isn't PAL or NTSC size, but from what I can gather searching (I can't find any original files to download) it does record in 50 or 60 fps. It's also an analog video signal. So, rather than upscaling, I believe the 720x240 recordings should be interlaced at half the framerate to get the native resolution. Question then still remains whether it is odd or even frames first (and whether that is reliable at all).

I just got mine and with the 500mah battery I'm getting 5mins 40seconds flight, isn't that a little to low, considering the ad says "about 7 mins" and thats with the provided 380mah lipo?

What does “a 7 min Flight Time” mean to you? If it means that the H107D is in the air (not sitting on the ground) for 7 minutes then there statement is correct.

The H107D can hover 5 to 10 cm of the ground for about 7 min. I refer to it as hovercraft mode, flying just above a surface. By doing that it will generate more lift at a low power consuming level.

When you fly around more then that, then its about 5 minutes.

Ohk, thank for clarifying. I did 5 mins 40 sec of hover, not zipping around. ill try again and see what i get on the 380mah provided

I got 4mn30 (flying, not only hovering) until the LEDs start flashing with the 380mAh, not much more with a 500mAh because of the additional weight, I could fly a little more but I prefer preserving the batteries. This is with props guard and lightened jelly lens.

Confirm,

500mah - 5mins 36 seconds of hovering and slow flying around my room until first low battery led flash

380mah - 4mins 51seconds of hovering and slow flying around my room until first low battery led flash

Time to charge 380mah lipo = 51 mins

Can't wait for mine to show up. I ordered it from Banggood on the 21st of April. Was hoping it would show up this week. But I'm betting I'll be waiting a little bit longer.
