Question
Silicone water cooling tubing, hose accessories, etc

Where do you all get your water cooling tubing?

Also how about the inlets, outlets, t-connectors, y-connectors, etc. What about 1/8" (.125") copper tubing?

I see a lot of products on OSE but is there a place I could be shopping locally? I live in Jax, Florida.

I figured I could go to a pet store and pick up some aquarium tubing but the first store I went had nothing like I thought it would. Then I thought a marine store or medical supplies, Granger perhaps, plumbing suppliers...?

Figure I should just ask you all rather than waste any more time.

Thanks!

try a automotive store and look for autobahn tubing. its basically performance vacuum/fuel line, but works great for water cooling.

Home Depot has some clear tubing. There is different thickness so watch what you buy. The thicker tube is less pliable.

I use 1/8" Tygon hose for cooling lines. It's a lot more durable than the silicon. Should be able to find it at an automotive store.

As for shopping locally... I try to make my major purchases off the internet to avoid sales tax which in most cases would be more than the shipping charges if any are involved. It's hard to beat a Tower super saver $50 off a 300 dollar order with free shipping.

Ok I'll def head to the automotive stores. Great idea. I have it stuck in my head it needs to be boat products.

I've already been all over Home Depot and Lowes, got help at both, but their solutions are either too large or the wrong materials.

I do wish it were that easy CornelP. There's no support for fast electrics in Jax. The three hobby stores in my area cater mostly to cars and didn't even know where the ponds are to run at. Plus I'm a noob and need help!

Thanks jjac - totally awesome! I'll see what I can dig up locally then head there next. Fantastic prices and everything I could think of and couldn't think of to choose from.

I really appreciate all the tips from everyone, you all rock!

ColnelP... So the best thing about being a noob is learning from my dumb noob mistakes. You were 100% correct.

Leaving my LHS right now with the cut to length hose and copper tubing necessary to make this happen. I made sure to get plenty of extra in case I need more or screw something up.
