Homefly.com has what you need. On the homepage look on the column on the left for the pinions.

Ok, I need some help with my brushless setup. I just got in the newest version of the Oversky 10a esc/converter directly from Oversky. I soldered a 3 pin connector to my new C05m and plugged everything in. I charged a battery and plugged it in, the heli bound and the Esc made a few beeps. I moved the throttle to full and I got another beep or two. I think it setup ok, but the esc won't spin the motor up. If I spin the motor by hand a couple time and give it throttle really quick, sometimes the motor will stutter a time or two and sometimes it will spin a couple revolutions, but that's it. It does it even when I pulled the motor from the heli. I thought maybe I had a bad solder joint on the motor plug so I redid them and they are good. Anybody know what the problem could be?

I bought this thing used last month and was only getting about a minute of hovering with the stock motor so that's why I am going brushless. Oh, the batteries are new 300mah nanotech's so I know it's not bad batteries.

hrm, anyone know if Kyosho Mini-Z SP Delrin Pinion Gear would be comparable to the PN Mini-Z MR-02 Pro Match Delrin Pinions ?

I'd rather pay a little bit more and get a 6-9t pinion set then a 7-10t set.

Homefly has been listing the 8T M0.5 1mm pinions as out of stock for several months now. and the 1.5mm is discontinued.

Wanted: Walkera Mini CP User Handbook

I am looking for a Mini CP User Handbook.
I built mine from all parts that I bought doing my review for it.
I have the PDF user manual but I would like to have the User Handbook also.

Tom
Handbook?
All i got with my mini cp was 2 pages with tx settings & explained stick movements for devo controller and a cd with the pdf manual.
and the settings/sticks can be found in the manual.

On a side note, has anyone ordered from Banggood with their "Expedited Shipping Service" DHL/UPS? its only US$37.97 & 2-3 business days to get it to Sweden.

I need to order a new mini as my current one seems to have damaged a solder joint somewhere from a crash, (Even barely noticeable vibrations will make the servos jump to endpoints on it, already tested with new servos).

Sounds like they stopped making the user handbook after the Genius CP which I have.
Thanks for letting me know.

I purchased the mini cp recently, my first cp heli.

I've noticed a good amount of what I learned is called tail wag.

Are there any settings that typically cause this issue, or is it just a (negative) characteristic of the mini cp?

thx..

Too much gyro gain will cause the tail to wag.
Try 82.0% gyro gain and adjust it for less if there is tail wag.

See my setup guides for Mini CP TX setup.

Thank you for the advice and link to all your settings.

I created a model copy on my tx and tried out your advanced settings, my mini cp seems very responsive now to changes in the pitch. I am still a beginner at cp really and don't fully understand everything that's going on quite yet... I've read through a few articles at rchelicpoterfun to get a better idea

there still seems to be tail wag after lowering the gyro gain. I brought it down to 55% I believe then lower but the heli started spinning violently in circles so I stopped there.

Your welcome.

Since the lower gyro gain didn't stop the tail wag I would put it back up in the 75% to 82.0% range so your tail holds.
If you go to high you will get strong tail wag.

I found these posts on tail wag. See if this helps you out.

I have a V120d02S V2 with a Devo 10 coming any day now, I use a CB100 for indoors mainly but today landed it in a tree so its out of commission until it dries out and want another mainly indoor heli, I was wondering if the mini CP would be better suited for indoors (only a small area) or would I be better with the super fp?

Thanks for any replies
