Hi,
searched the thread with no success - if already asked I apologize!! Paul offers Flyduino to Spektrum Satellite, incl. 3V regulator in his shop http://flyduino.net/Flyduino-to-Spek...l-3V-regulator - but the code since 1.9/2.0 shows this: /* The following lines apply only for Spektrum Satellite Receiver Spektrum Satellites are 3V devices. DO NOT connect to 5V! For MEGA boards, attach sat grey wire to RX1, pin 19. Sat black wire to ground. Sat orange wire to Mega board's 3.3V (or any other 3V to 3.3V source). So I asked myself do I nedd such a V-regulator or can I connect a Spektrum satellite directly to Flyduino's 3.3V the way it's described in the code?Or why should I take the regulator? Thank you!! use the cable (incl. regulator) if you want to add the Spektrum Sat the easy way without soldering - it's a simple plug&fly solution. You can also make your own cable for connecting the Sat to the board. aBUGSworstnightmare |

Nice adapter, could be useful for OpenPilot CC users as well, the flexport offers connection to a satellite but you need an adapter too to lower the voltage. Different connector though, but that's easy.. Menno |

great video Markus!
Its a powerfull combination, good for skilled pilots. This is what i did this afternoon, hm my flying skills are still horrible and its a not much tuned setup, but here it is.
Its the FCP with 8" flat Hex Setup and MT2208, a bit underpowered may, but working well, the copter flies rock solid, but not the pilot. Gimbal reaction can be faster on multiwii, but its allready quite nice. The cam was a Sony HX9, quite demanding vibration wise, but the new mount and ballanced propellers did a good job. Flat Hex seems to be the way to go, we will try a 10" flat hex next time, its very promissing. some raw footage http://uploaded.to/file/egrm814n http://www.badongo.com/file/26956540 |

Good job, Paul!
I see you're getting better with flying your own creatures around. Ok ... it's no warthox' style ... but at least there's only 1 warthox. The 1 and only... ![]() If I was on the same filed with Markus I'd steal his transmitter to provide me some peaceful flying time. I'd get nervous pretty soon if he'd fly around my aircraft! ![]() Quote:
