I'm Retired and Live in the country , We live on a non town road
so there is no mail delivery - we use a P.O. box and for years I have
ordered from Horizon Hobby's and Items were sent to the Post office box

I have 3 Stryker's PK spite ,109, P47 Duces wild ,there large airliner
and many other's

horizon models fly great , but today when I tryed to order a new
Spitefire I was told they don't ship anything over $50.00 through
the mail and they haven't for the last 5 years - ups won't deliver
but I have done will call with no problem .

I explained that I have all there models and they were mailed
and even Banana Hobby can ship using the USPS. so why
all of a sudden can't they ????????

I can get what I want from china ,through USPS but not from the
USA

SO I Guess horizon no longer wants my money

but If I go to my local hobby store they could order it for me
which is no problem its only 2 hours away sounds like fun ???

Two things.

1. Call back and talk to someone else. See if the guy wasn't mistaken.

2. See what I highlighted in Bold. If your LHS is 2 hours away, instead of driving, why not just call and place a phone order with them and have them ship it to you?

If I run into a place that won't deliver to PO boxes I put the physical address of the local Post Office as my mailing address and then add my PO Box number to the zipcode. For example, if my zipcode it 77777 and my PO Box is 1234 then I would change my delivery zipcode to 77777-1234. I've even made up addresses like 101 Main Street as long as my zipcode could be amended to reflect my PO Box.

Try this at your own risk! I live in a small town and the folks at the Post Office know me by name. A letter would still get delivered to me if it only had my name and the zipcode on it! I certainly wouldn't do this with a high dollar part for my first attempt. Try sending yourself a letter and see if it makes it.

I also live in a very small town ,and know all 3 ladies in P.O.
but problem is ups would deliver to P.o. or houses that are not on public
streets.

but I found someone who will send my stuff and cheaper
