^^^ Yep, just down the boom. I want to do a general comparison of the tail boom length. I'd subtract the rear wing tab from the equation (~3/4") and go from wing TE at the center to the LE point of the horizontal stab. Just eye-ball with a yard stick, don't need it to .001"

I got the motor and esc in. Trial fitting the elevator servo. The first problem came up with the cable for the elevator. My idea is to put the peice of wood in side to give the cable support and keep it from bending. Anyone got a better idea?

And heavy too! I was hoping to get away with a cc80 and makeup the watts with volts rather than amps...

Get some carbon sock, wet this out when over the cable. Install it in the plane and let cure.

I have not done this personally but seen it done.

I would install tail servo in the tail. Will clear more space in the fuse,no mess with cables/linkages.
With all these goodies in the nose ,You will have to counter weight her anyhow to achieve right CG.
You still will need a balsa spacer to widen the tail a little for servo to fit.
Yuri, who hates tail servos in the fuse.

its easier to install the servo & snake doing it this way. have a plate for the servo which also has an end anchor point for the snake. Slide it in, stick the plate/servo in correect location & just anchor the rest of the snake down the fuz. I normally just run cyno down the snake & it locks to the side of the fux where it contacts when in the correct place.

different model but same installs on my Jibe1 build log. Here
