Spare EDF parts lying around
Well I was going through the parts bin and noticed I had this fan lying around:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=4498 I then noticed it accepts a 28mm motor...of which I have a HET 1W-30 that I've really never been able to find a use for. So wondering if this would be a usable combo on 3 or 4S? Would like to keep the amps to around 70max (would this combo even draw this much?), and would like 3lbs+ thrust out of it. |

Like that fan's looks - but have seen comments that it is a heavy-duty amp puller. Might be a mite much for the 1W-30..... but since you have 'em both, and in hand, why not bolt 'em up and see what ya get?

Well I'd have to order a custom shaft adapter since that fan only comes with a 3mm adapter, and I'd need an airframe to put it in before I can do any testing. Just wondering if the end result is worth it just to get these parts some air time
