New FMS 29" Skyraider and Tempest
This weekend I got this planes.
I already maidened the Sky raider. She is sweet and fast! Both are full of details. The motor is bigger than previous minis. Landing the Raider was soo easy. No issues like the P-51 or Corsair(RIP). |

FMS Tempest 29"
A plane I built long time ago in 1/72 scale from Matchbox's kits.
I'm amazed to see a flyable version, around 1/28. The wings are wider than the Skyraider, forecasting more stable flights and more floating.

Skyraider weathering
I think the most interesting feature of this plane is the dirtiest engine ever!
I tried to replicate it with an airbrush. |

Have you flown the tempest yet? Just wondering, as it's one my my dad and I's favourite planes.

WITH A 1000mAH 2S mines still tail heavy -i've added 15g of nose weight & once i get a new set of props i'll retry
Think the C/g should be nearer 40mm not 45... sorta dissapointed a little but i think i've been spolit by the Jpower bear and the Geebee R3 which fly from the box without issues.. still a pretty lil thing |
