Been following this thread as well as the MD-80 airliner thread. Great stuff ! Unbelievable # of hours invested in these scale builds.

I'm a big fan of civilian twins but there's not much out there in the RC world, at least not in ARF foam electrics. Sure, there's a C310, B60, C410, YS-11, Baron 58.

But not much in the more vintage twins like the Aztec, Apache, Commanche, Shrike Aero Commander, Fairchild Metroliner, Convair, Lockheed 12A.

Anyone building these?

DD- I know Dynam makes a C310. Pretty cheap. Top Flight makes a very nice one but $$$. Aerosky makes a Duke B60.

I plan on doing the Metroliner soon Hawk and possibly a Piper Aztec. . .. back in the late 90's when I had money I logged 2 one our flights with an instructor in the Piper Aztec out of North Philly airport. . .The Aztec is also know as the "Aztruck" it cost me 200+ an hour plus 50 for the instructor in 99. . .. . .I miss flying.

I got to see another pilot do the Hoover show at Oshkosh earlier this summer. I've been an aviation nut all of my life so have seen lots of airshows but the finale maneuver:

-throttle off
-loop
-180 turn back to line up for runway
-coasting taxi all the way back to parking spot

I have to get back to oshKosh, been there 3 or 4 times over the years.

you da man demon. i might have to get one of these kits from you sometime in the future. ive got too many projects now as it is. but i love that little plane. looks like it'd be a real hoot to build & fly. id like to set one up for some pretty good performance. not too fast, but some good speed. im glad i ran into you here on the groups, your doing a lot of great things for the hobby.

Thanks a Bunch Buddy! I plan to release it as a Laser cut EP & depron Kit in the next few months as the "Demon-Box-Bird"

I wanna offer airliner kits that are good quality but are inexpensive & easy to build.

I seriously look forward to more YS-11 Progress!

Now time to start to add the control horn tubes for the 120's elevators & add the Carbon fiber rod to the tail as well.

And lets not forget the Decals!
