Can you tell me anything about the 3m Mavericks? I actually have one of these at home, but up until now I didn't even know what it was. They are nice fuses.

Yeah, they are Daryl Perkins design for 3M V-tail slope racer.

Interesting.. The one I have was built as a thermal ship complete with skegs and tow hook. It is being converted back to Slope use though. Obeche sheeted wings?? I'm guessing they are not the original wings.

That's strange, because I'm fairly sure that it was designed to be a slope racer, not a thermal duration model. Perhaps, yours was built from a bare fuselage to be a thermal plane. You can ask Target about this he has more info and actually has a set of plans for the Maverick.

I remember flying an F3B contest with DP in Gilroy and he was flying a Mav. T tail version. I'm guessing the V Ultra fuse is gone?
