I use these:

sorbothane feet

I create a small hole and then push the bolt through and use a washer and then a nut - one of the feet above and one below the contact point. Works well.

Puh, thats not easy to answer.

First, sorry no flight videos. The EVO has gone to my development department . We try to find the best Servo configuration.
The Servo could be as fast as posible but in fact that theres a potentiometer involved it is then a little slower as roll.
Where now testing with a 1/1 drive but this takes time.

the Gimbal it selve is when you look at the price one of the best i´ve ever seen and believe me i´ve had a lot.
Dont know the exakt meshuring but with two 16mm tubes you can expand where ever you whant. Thats by far one of the greatest benefits of the EVO.

By looking for a good Servo youre first interrest should be that it has nearly no slope /play in gears.
MKS does a great job here and also some HiTec.

Shure a potentiometer on roll could help bringing both axis at same speed but does it help?
I had best results when diled in with the AutoQuad Flight control.

And TwoDee EVO is too big for TAROT FY680 ? Can you send TwoDee EVO to Russia Moscow? Thanks.

with 5 cm expansion it will fit lovely i think



I'll buy mine tomorrow and will update it with my AlexMos gimbal controller and my 2 new brushless motor rewinding by myself.

We'll let you know how it goes

Exactly what I was going to recommend to Oz. Servos are going to be completely replaced by brushless motors when Alex's controller hits. Brushless motors of course perform 10x better than servos and are a 5th of the cost of a very high end brushless servo that I'd put in.

Oz, modify your mount to accept brushless motors.

I will but I need a brushless set for it.I will realise a upgrade module when I found a brushless control set.

I am in progess of tunign G.O. Two issues

1) twicing in tilt axis. Very fast & small back & forth twitch. This makes video unusable. Might be caused also by below 0 temperature, because gets worse during the flight.

2) roll axis is difficult to get smooth. I think it has multiple challenges. 1) belt is difficult to get tight enough. 2) More weight (than on pitch) on the bearing will add friction --> no smooth movement

For roll I have used flexible band to have the roll on "another corner of belt" to make it smoother. Somewhat successfull.

Anyone having similar challenges? What is a good fix?

Hi Kaakku,

First of all, wrong location for camera CG may occur this type of twitces.Be sure your camera located CG on the gimbal.
You can find right CG with this method:
-disassemble the belts
-locate the camera on the tray,when the gimbal comes in balanced position,
-mark the camera monting points
-assembly the belts and tune the belt tensions

Other hand,gain controlls on the gimbal controller are important,you must be sure gains tuned.

if the servo resulutions or torques not enogh,twitches may occur,too.

What servos are you using on the GO Gimbal..?

We are using the reccommended HiTec ones and ours is smooth as glass. Oz is right.....the camera balance is critical along with good fast servos......

I m glad to see that,you assemblied and mount EVO to your frame,looks good.
This lagy gimbal movement is a problem for all dji owners,they must do something about it.Maybe it will be better with a seperate gimbal controller like multiwii.I m using it sometimes and I like it.
