Hey Gary, is Air sally hanging with you???

I am just wondering where the updates are. I am keen to see this little beauty complete.

BTW Gary- any chance you can get me some bearings to fit the tailerons and send them with my rotor package?? I have been to all the RC places (not many left here) and can't get some to fit. I can get ID or OD but not both, Only if not too painful - J

Thanks Gary,
I was working out how I could change the set-up to a brass bush system. It would be crap. Do you reckon it will be hand launchable??

Sure J, there's plenty of ways you could fab bushings from Brass, nylon delrin, or C/F tube, if you use C/F or brass, burnish the taileron rods with powdered Graphite lubricate. The kind you blow into door locks. You can get it at the hardware store or model railroad shops.

No comment from me on hand launching.

Give up your day job and stick to the stuff you love.... You will live longer and we will have our parts sooner !!

BTW - I don't always practice what I preach.

It's amazing what you find in the city. I took our some of my office trash for destruction and some guy chucked out a rc car chassis. I ripped out the bearings and they might just be a fit. It will be 8-9 hours before I go home but it could save a drama.

Major Bummer..... the bearings don't fit. I called an rc car store and they confirmed that they are the smallest he has. Not nearly a fit..

Still need help if you can Gary. J

Hmmm very clever to open up the market a little.

I never had patience as a quality, hence my wife calling me Bratman. J
