Hi guys and gals!
Here's one that I'll share! I came across this the other day. And since chances are most of us got inspiration from TV programs like Sky King, well how many of you remember this one? I'll give you a clue. I remember this guy being on the front page of the Sunday newspaper comics for years. HIs creator was a gentleman by the name of Milton Caniff, who unfortnately is no longer with us. But his cartoon character leaped off the Sunday paper and into U.S. Air Force aircraft. This tV series is being resurrected onto DVD. It ran one season on TV , from 1958 to 1959, and was never brought back as reruns. It was shelved and set there on shelves for maybe 50 years or more. His name? Go here to find out! If you'd like to read the customer reviews ( all 5 star reviews by the way) go to Amazon.com and take a look at them. Who is this guy? Go here to find out! Warning-this website has a lot of neat stuff to see and read about! http://stevecanyondvd.blogspot.com/ Enjoy! |

Weight of Covering Material
When deciding what material to cover your latest masterpiece in, it can be useful to have ready access to current information about the weights of competing products. This site provides just that.

Thanks, Stan. Some of those coverings are relevant to the Micro Component Weight Chart thread:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1547828 so I'm going to quote your post there. That's another useful link, incidentally - for anyone who wants to build micro planes and wants to know the weights of the components they could use. |

jonquinn,
Condolences on the sad loss of your old PC. Try http://www.freeflightsupplies.co.uk/plans.htm (or http://www.freeflightsupplies.co.uk to see the whole site, with the menu) or http://samsmodels.com also take a look at http://flitehook.net/price_list.html - download the price list to see what they sell... not sure about plans though. |
