I was wondering if you had a motor. I just happen to have a lensrc with fresh bearings. The winding was fine.

Hey Wes, what is that connector pokin' through just ahead of the pilot?
It is a servos extension going to the bind port on the Spektrum receiver.
This way if I need to rebind it I do not have to take off the wing

If you would want to part with that motor let me know!
Thats one of my favorite motors!

Give me a bit of time to play with it. I have been comparing it to my own similar motors on a stand not in the air. Thrust per watt is not bad. I was considering trying it in a gearbox, but I will skip that and send it back no charge if you want it.

Hi Pat,

Thanks, the new good news is these 100 kits are being loaded into container.
But, sorry to let you know that TM400 has been sold out since long, and boss has not yet made up his mind about the new batch.

Chen

I would love to have it. But don't want to deprive you of fun either!

I got about 30 minutes of air time in on my Moth last night. Absolutely perfect night sorte conditions.

I also want to report that my last LensRC 17T motor that I thought I killed is once again working. There were only a couple loose magnets and after re-gluing them I found that the bell had become loose on the shaft. A little Locktite Sleeve Retainer and she is back to her quiet powerful self.....this motor has literally 1000's of flights on her over 15, or so, years and just keeps going.

Cheers,
Jim

That's a cool idea! It's good to see you flying again, Wes.

That's a beautiful plane....in spite of the color. You going to paint it?
It came out really well.

Something is fishy on that white one. I don't have that much prop clearance using a 9x4.7. Light though, it should float. With your skills maybe you could do a white bengal look.
