Steam pressure telemetry
I am wondering if anyone is aware if there is a steam pressure sensor available which can be connected to a telemetry system, to be constantly aware of the pressure when the boat is out on the water?
It seems like a relatively simple issue, which could be very useful.

I haven't seen such a r/c device, but I guess it can be done.
However water level sensors seem more important to me to be able to read via telemetry. I haven't seen any ready made packages either, but electrical water sensors are available and I imagine that they can be adapted to work with commercial telemetry equipment.
I have also thought of another way of solving all these steam plant monitoring issue remotely. Use a small r/c camera (there are several models available with LCD on the receiving end) in the boat to show the pressure gauge, water gauge, whatever else and if possible also the area in front of the boat.

FPV Monitoring of Boiler Pressure, Water Level
Great idea. a small real-time video camera would also be ideal to monitor conditions in the boiler room in enclosed steam plants like my Preston. A fire would show up very quickly. My fire suppression system could be modified to be triggered via RC signal. This would douse a fire immediately. I'm interested.
