There are a number of different deoxit's. The one labelled D5 is the cleaner/lubricant you want. Other deoxits have different purposes, so be sure to get the "D" series.

Good luck and I hope it works as well for you as it has for me.

Is the Ember/Citabria prop with spinner a direct fit? I thought I ordered the right part, but the hole on the props is bigger than the stock MV shaft.

Hello guys,

i bought a second hand Mini Vapor but it came with a Vapor (0.3A) charger.
so 2 things:
1. anyone got a spare 70ma charger to sell or trade for mine?
2. can i put slightly larger battery on the Mini Vapor for more flight time? if so, which battery is recommended?

thanks.

I have flown mine with the 150 mHa battery successfully. Just adjust the CG for the bigger weight.

I tried it too but you're seriously pushing the airframe to its limits.. Performance is OK, since the internal resistance of the battery is much lower than the 30mA one. Don't forget you're adding about 30% weight to the aircraft

any after market chargers that are known to work well with original mini vapor 30ma battery?

Any charger works as long as you respect maximum charge capacity for the standard battery (2,5C which is 2,5 x 30 = 75mA).

For example, my Ultramat charges 50mA minimum with 50mA increments but I simply charge four in parallel at 200mA (4 x 30mA = 120mA charge rate for 1C. 200/120=1,7C so well within limits).

I use the Hitec X4 Micro for all my small 1S packs. That has 4 outlets that each go down to 0.1A (and up to 1A)

yes i realized that, but wasnt able to source any aftermarket 75ma or less chargers. and im only charging 1 battery.
any ideas?
i think something like this should work:

PS - any good price aftermarket batteries for Mini Vapor? if i find some i may charge 4 in parallel too

With that charger you're risking battery damage with the mini vapor original batteries, unless you charge at least two batteries in parallel per port.

I3dm, check our the Ares range of models. They also sell 30mA batteries.

For what it is worth, the only more-or-less equivalent cell supplied with the correct Picoblade connector I have been able to get is the HobbyKing 60mAh 45-90C cell.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=54938

BUT

1) It's not 60mAH

and it is most certainly

2) NOT45-90C!

Frankly it is pretty awful - but so is the Eflite original. Fortunately the Mini Vapor is not very demanding. However if you are after spritely performance, I think for the small additional weight the HK cell is the better alternative.

The eRC Nano Stik 30mAh may be worth considering and the Ares 50mAh seems to be good.

If you are happy with the additional weight then Hyperion 70mAh or even 130mAh cells are better. Very small cells have a high IR and the Hyperions seem to do better than most.

On the other hand if you can make up your own flight pack with a Picoblade connector there are 30-50mAh cells that are far better than the originals such as the Full River ones.

Although he calls them Zippy cells I think these may be the same from Mark at Micronwings.

http://www.micronwings.com/Products/...ry/index.shtml

If you are in the US you can get them from

http://microflierradio.com/Batteries.html

But he doesn't ship to Israel. Mr Google may find other suppliers.
