How did you manage to NOT see that? Anyways... They will fly the heli but flight time and performance won't be anything to write home about, is my guess. There's only so much a 120mAh battery can lift.

I use old rechargeables. Because of the lower per cell voltage, I hardly get 3 dots even on a full charge.

As long as they last a few days, dots or no dots, I am happy.

Just charge them like charging the Li-po's.

I use 3S LiPo's for my other bigger TX's.

We probably can find/make up bigger batteries, but it isn't a good idea to give the little brushed motors too much load.

For anyone who hasnt done it, the paddle mod with msr xtreme paddles is a great mod. Just cut the stock FB and sand it down and press fit the paddles on. It has more response and better sustained FFF.

This has probably been posted before, but the thread is a bit big to quickly browse through.
Is there a shop that ships these paddles to Europe for an acceptable price?

Paddles are ugly.
I'm gonna put them on my Solo Pro 270 only because the stock flybars are flimsy and break easily, like the main rotors on my Xieda 9958 which has the toilet bowl effect. If the TRex 100 paddles are 0.5 grams heavier than the stock flybar, I might not put them on.

WOW are you sure your 9958 has TBE???

paddles are ugly? LOL. I think they look a lot nicer than the stock fb does.

TBE isnt a bad thing, it makes it easier to transition into FFF outside. TBE is only an issue if you like to hover hands off and eat some icecream while you fly. My oldest 9958 has a worn flybar and it will TBE if you dont work the sticks, but since I know how to cure it with stick input its really no issue.
