Just for Fun your first micro was?? an...

Just curious to know how others stated in he addiction

My first Micro was the Parkzone Cessna 210. I still have it and flew it 2 years ago and plan to fly it again.

Then the Flyzone Cub was on sale complete with a free anylink, the motor and gearbox seemed cheap compared to the 210 but the servos were way better and I did not have to use that radio that came with the 210.

after that it is a blurr or Hobby Shop dream come true as all were bought on implulse due to sales and the need for another battery but I believe it went

UM Stryker
Um Spitfire
miniVapour
UM Mig
UM Sbach (this is my go to plane reminds me I need more batteries)
FlyZone Triplane
UMX SK 21(not flown waiting for the perfect day and a hill)
UMX Radian
UMX mosquito
UM space walker
UMX corsair
FlyZone Albatros

Thinking about a whipit, habu and Pitts an PT 17

anyone else care to share

Air Hogs Aero Aces were what got me hooked.

I actually saw a post about them on an automobile forum that I frequented back in 2006. I just found the post actually, it was October, 2006.... crazy.

Since then... it's been all down hill.

Once the Parkzone Cessna hit the market I had to have it. I used to watch videos of it constantly before it was even available...

Now... I just took delivery of a B-17 today... A long way from an Aero Ace but there is no doubt that they taught me a lot and the amount of fun I had with them is priceless. I still have them and plenty of them NIB!

In order of purchase

Coax Blade Helicopter (gift from wife)
Nano QX
Blade 120 SR ( a crappy helicopter. Never did like it.)
Blade MSR

UMX Radian
UMX Pitts
Sport Cub S
UMX Beast

My first fixed wing wasn't a umx, it was the Archer.

I now have more planes than I can fly on a regular basis.

The Flyzone Playmate. The old free-flight enthusiast in me knew this plane would fly well.

I've bought several of these, and other micros also.

Remove the landing gear, and move the battery back to behind where the LG was, reduce elevator throw to minimum and advance rudder throw to maximim, and she is an excellent motor glider.

I was just thinking micro planes but its all good the Aero Bird Challenger brings back some good memories, my and a friend using the combat module and the target drone thing.

I took an inventory and somehow I have ended up with 53 planes and helicoptors and 7 radios. as well as many many spares not really sure how this happened

53 planes and such . It happened because you have or had the room . If I had more room there would be more in my lineup. Never mind that I can't fly all of them at once or that the hobby keeps me broke.
