Micro UFO, need plans

Anybody have plans or 3-views (Doxilia? YGM!) I could use to scratch a micro (24") UFO? I have a friend who asked me to build him one, I should have time over the long weekend, but no plans.

Thanks.

Andy

I'm finishing up another Micro Bridi build thread:

I think Horizon needs to start thinking about some UMX retracts...

OK, got the plans, got them scaled to the appropriate size (100 sq in), got the wood, got the parts - just need the time (which should be available next weekend).

I'll do a build thread on it. You guys want it here, or should I start it over in Builders section?

2 to 0 - guess that means it will be here. There doesn't seem to be much interest in build threads over in the Building forum. They want more to whine about why nobody is building, I guess At least if I do it here, Mike McConville will see it before I bring it in to work

I was looking at my hangar wall yesterday. I have 5 Bridi planes there, a Vagabond kit in the short "to build" pile, and a UFO build about to begin. There must be something about his planes that I like. Flat fuse sides, perhaps

They say engineers can't take a hint. Well, not me! I can!

I'll drop off a set of plans on your desk this morning.

They have added the GWS pico retracts to their site. They weigh 1 gram each once you replace the heavy wire legs. The as2000 series linears have no problem operating them but it is alot easier to adjust linkage with the long throw servos since you have more leeway to mix the endpoints vs getting the linkage JUST right. Here is a couple pics next to my mossie thats getting a set and the brushless treatment.
