Aspire ep

I was lucky enough to get a free Aspire ep glider from a guy at my airfield. I just corkscrewed my old taylorcraft into the ground and have a BL 450 motor and ESC laying around. I have some 3 cell lipos in the 1600-2200 range. Will this motor have enough power for this plane? It doesn't have to be fast just good enough to fly it around. If not what would be a

Based on the Park 450-890 which I gather has the same Kv and weight, with a 12x6,5 prop it should stay under the motor limit and give you around 180W - enough power for a decent climb given your LiPo will be a lot lighter than the original NiCds.

IMO, worth trying as you already have the motor
