Addicion X flying with one wing only - RC Mafia video
What do you do after a mid air collision and flying around with a damaged wing? Of course you land, mount the good wing onto the other, the damaged side. The only problem: now you are short of one wing... Not a problem for Radio Rookie and the RC Mafia

Hey Dan,
Yes to my surprise it was stable in the straight and level with a kind of feel like doing a normal KE on the small Addy on a windy day. The turns however were quite tricky as it needed a lot of space and felt not very responsive. This time without the wing, it tends to roll with the application of the elevator in the turn causing it to loose height pretty quick. The KE loop as to my complete surprise felt identical as doing with both wings. I would still want to explore whatelse is possible with one wing and see how far I can get away with it. Having said that, flying with one wing is visually disorienting and I found myself having to pause and think. It's loads of fun. Give it a try. Cheers RR |
