Well I didn't get the servos in tonight :-(

The JR DS368 servo, I think the HS85 will be in the same boat, will go in but it stands so high the you can't get a decent servo arm on it.

With more measuring you really need a servo with less than 19mm below the mounting lugs and as importantly less than 15mm from the button of the mounting lug to the topside of the servo arm.

So I'll try a JR NES-381 (321 ? in other parts of the world) on the weekend.

Other than that I think the following will fit: Hyperion 11 Series, GWS Naro plus BB and Hitec HS-65.

What depth is available in the wing for wing servos Mark?

The flaps a reasonably deep I put HS85s in and they fit with nothing to spare.

The ailerons don't have a huge space. I used JR DS171, which are 11mm thick and there wasn't alot of spare space. The aileron and flap clovers do have a small bulge molded into them. So you have to make sure you line the servo up with the bulge, in the example of the HS85 for flaps, or they don't fit.

You will need about a 35mm spinner and there is about 300mm to the leading edge from the back of the spinner.

Cool, I have a set of those for my Graphite that doesn't really need them (way more space than 9.5mm available in that) so I might go with these. I had hoped to go with cheaper servos but since they're on the shelf... Thanks.

I had a set of these to use in a HET Sniper EDF model - I sold them on though having read some bad reports re developing slop really quickly. Nice and thin at 8mm though!!

Well I have installed the servos.

Ended up with JR E381 for the elevator and HS 65 for the rudder. The elevator servo is probably overkill but it fits and they are reasonably priced.

Used the pushrod ends and MP-Jet clevis's that Andrew from Falcon Gliders provided with the fuselage.

I hope to get the firewall glued tomorrow.

The firewall in now in.

The front of the fuse had about 2 degrees of up and 1 degree of left. So I sanded it to have about 1 of down and no left or right. I'll mix the rest out with the radio if required.

How just wait 24 hours for the epoxy to set properly.

Bit of a pain that the nose isn't prepared as well as it should be... Nice work with your install.

How do you tell the angle of the nose? Do you just lay it flat on the table and have a guess?
